Today, I want to explain in details the surprisingly unknown full-screen browsing in Sleipnir Mobile. You can enter full screen-mode in Sleipnir Mobile on the iPhone by holding the device horizontally.
▲ Easily switch to full-screen mode by holding the device horizontally.
When you do this, you probably will see a white scroll bar for just a moment. This is the scroller specially for full-screen browsing. You can instantly scroll when you want just by holding down the right edge of the screen and moving up and down. This makes browsing vertically long pages easy-peasy. You can also use TouchPaging when in full-screen mode. Because you can switch between tabs by flicking left and right, it is also useful for going through tabs left open in tab groups in wide-view screen. Of course you can also draw an “L” character to close tabs. When you have finished reading a page try closing it by drawing an “L” character.
▲ The switching between tabs, left to right with a scrolling feeling in TouchPaging, can also be experienced in full-screen.
The full-screen browsing mode has been designed specifically for viewing content, so display of functions and information is kept to a minimum. However, essential features such as the progress bar and back button are available, so it is possible to browse without leaving full-screen mode.
▲ The progress bar is displayed at the top of the screen when loading data.
Also, the function to set the screen vertically is available in iOS, so you can switch between using and exiting full-screen mode when you wish. When you want to set the direction, just double tap the home button, and then scroll to the left and tap the “lock button”.
▲ Double tap the iPhone home button, and scroll to the left. The lock button is located on the left.
Please make use with it along with the standard-sized screen.
