Today, we have released Sleipnir 3 for Windows version 3.0.14 with improvements made regarding freeze and forced termination issues.
Improvements made to general freeze and forced termination issues
We have increased the memory that Sleipnir can use in response to the issue where the memory usage would greatly increase, and then Sleipnir would become unstable when many tabs are opened.
This makes overall operations much more stable when browsing for long periods of time or when opening many tabs at one time.
Currently, we are focusing our efforts on making improvements to the stability of Sleipnir 3 for Windows regarding freeze and forced termination issues. If you can provide any information regarding freeze and forced termination issues, please report the information to us using the Sleipnir 3 for Windows page-bottom mail form.
Please provide any available information regarding the order, situation, frequency, URL, client information, and any other relevant information when reporting any issues to help us with making suitable improvements. We are very grateful for any feedback you can provide, thank you.
Issue where the application would forcefully terminate when tabs are closed in Gecko view fixed
Thank you to everybody who reported the forced termination issue that occurred when closing tabs in Gecko view.
We will continue to make improvements based on your feedback, so please report any issues, etc. via the feedback agent, mail form, SNS, etc.
In addition to the above improvements, we have also fixed the issue where the operation would sometimes fail when trying to bring together and open tabs using “OpenSelectedLinks”(Ctrl+G). Please check out the release notes for further information.
We have released the Sleipnir 3 for Windows FAQ page.
