Sleipnir 3 for Mac (3.3) web browser released! Now you can share pages on Twitter and Facebook!

Today, we released the latest version of Sleipnir 3 for Mac – (3.3)! We have made it possible to quickly share pages using Twitter or Facebook in this latest version.

Download from the Mac App Store
Download the Black Edition from the product page

We have also included improvements to basic functions and added extensions such as adding support for multiple accounts for automatically inserting passwords. Certification display support also added for the Black Edition. Please read on for further details.

Share pages using Twitter or Facebook

You can now quickly share pages on Twitter or Facebook by using the action button in the tool bar.  Tweet or share those pages you want to show everybody on the spot!

How about trying it out by sharing a page on Twitter? Just press the Twitter icon from the action button.

All that is left to do is to tweet a comment (Account information required). Because the page title is inserted automatically to start with, if you just want to post the information you don’t need to change anything. You can also add URLs after-wards.

Support for multiple accounts when using automatic insertion of passwords added

The function for saving user names and passwords so they are automatically inserted can now be used with multiple accounts.

Just like in the iOS version, when the information is automatically inserted, hitting in another user and moving to the next column will automatically insert the relative password. Use this function to create accounts for your business and private life, and save separate passwords for each account.

Saved passwords are added just like usual to the standard keychain of OS X. Please access the keychain when you want delete/modify information.

Display certification (Black Edition)

You can now display the certification in the Black Edition.

When you open a page with certification, a green padlock icon and the name is displayed next to the address at the top right. You can check the details of the certification by clicking it.

You can change sites you trust along with addresses to be easy to view, so you can browse with ease.

Due to restrictions by the Mac App Store, this function is only supported in the Black Edition.
